fell by 54% DAYS OF SNOW IN NORTHERN IBERIAN PENINSULA IN RIOJA

CLIMATE CHANGE
Meteorology Group at the University of Cantabria (UC) has been published in the International Journal of Climatology, in the Royal Society of Meteorology, a study which shows statistically the feelings that I had the old stock of that year ARAR less snow in the north of Spain , regardless of altitude.

The conclusions are alarming:

- Each year we have lost half a day of snowfall.

- There is a direct correlation between reducing the days it snows and rising temperatures in the north (1.5 degrees on average).

- Scientists advise against investing in stations slopes as this trend will continue over the coming years.

The study's authors have reviewed the data provided from 1975 to 2002 by thirty weather stations from the Sierra de Gredos to Galicia and the Pyrenees and at altitudes ranging from 60 meters of Grado (Asturias) to the 1,353 of Zapardiel de la Ribera (Ávila).

Their findings indicate that on average each year has lost half a day of snowfall, a 2% annually since 1975 to build a decrease of 13 days at the end of the period. The decline is most dramatic in the winter, with 60% (8 days less snow), and spring, with 50% (3.5 days).

If these data are extrapolated into the future, it is estimated that by 2040 would have lost another 10 or 12 days of snow a year, which currently provide 17 days of snow.

therefore near future we expect a very hot and not because our sun becomes a red giant, and who may therefore still missing about 4 billion years, and the truth that is now the least concerned about this old stock.
