- ARCHITECTURE, PARKS AND GARDENS

- INNOVATIVE EXPERIENCES OF WINE TOURISM

Again, large wineries have garnered all the awards, leaving us to our warehouse as mere extras in the ceremony of awarding prizes .

Winners in each category will represent the host Bilbao-Rioja, which will compete with the best candidates from the eight other locations that make the Net: Bordeaux, Bilbao-Rioja, Cape Town, Mendoza, San Francisco-Napa Valley , Oporto, Mainz, Florence and Christchurch, New Zealand.

ENOTURISMO The auditorium of the Corn Exchange Bilbao will host the Tuesday 26, starting at 19.30 hours, the Eighth Edition of Awards Best of the Wine Tourism Network of Great Wine Capitals that is organized from headquarters Bilbao-Rioja within this international network in which are the nine major wine regions of the world, awards to those who choose to La Rioja 11 of the 30 nominations, of which our small winery Bodegas ARRANZ - ARGOTE choose three candidates three of the seven categories of the awards.

The categories we chose are:

- ART AND CULTURE
- ARCHITECTURE, PARKS AND GARDENS
- INNOVATIVE EXPERIENCES OF WINE TOURISM

Wine and companies related to wine tourism throughout the Rioja Denomination of Origin (Basque Country, Navarra and La Rioja) have been eligible to these awards who value the pursuit of excellence and quality in wine tourism.

A total of 30 nominations have been submitted to any of the seven categories for which awards are: Accommodation, Restaurant, Architecture, Parks and Gardens, Art and Culture, Innovative Experiences, Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices, and Services wine tourism.

The jury is composed of representatives of Chambers of Commerce and Tourism Departments of Navarra, Basque Country and La Rioja, in addition to the City of Bilbao. We chose to examine the projects submitted to the contest by the candidate companies, and later, the jury proceeded to visit the candidate. With these data was made the final decision.
